Restaurants Italy

In Italy, most restaurants generally offer regional specialties particular to that area. But most will serve pizza, as it's become Italy's national dish. Tiramisu is also very popular in Italian restaurants as is Caprese salad, which is also, is a national dish in Italy.

All Italian restaurants have reasonable house wines that are cheap and have few after effects. Apparently there are less sulfites in domestic Italian wines, which means they don't give you much of a hangover.

Italians normally have two meals a day - one in the afternoon and one in the evening. The evening meal is normally eaten quite late, by English standards. Don't expect restaurants to serve the evening meal before seven or eight at the very earliest.

Italy is of course, also home to a huge variety of international restaurants serving food from all over the world. Whatever kind of food you are after, you'll find it here.
